Welcome to the Pitfour Fly Fishing Club
NO VACANCIES
We are proud of our fishery - limited to 120 members - the club consists of enthusiastic fishermen of all skill levels who share a passion for fly fishing. Brown Trout and coarse fish are protected and should be returned and Rainbow Trout are subject to a three fish bag limit. We stock with the best quality fish we can find and fish of all sizes can be caught so there is plenty of room for surprises! The club is a mutual organisation and all surpluses are reinvested in the club.

Our lake is a wonderful combination of mature trees bordering a shallow but productive fishery. Over the years, the lake has been stocked with various species of fish. Having been left undisturbed for the last two years, the lake now has a healthy stock of semi-wild fish complementing our own stocked rainbow trout. Fishers will come across brown trout and coarse fish - all of which must be returned.
Walkers and visitors are always welcome so long as dogs are kept on lead and out of the water. There is a delightful walk around the lake for visitors to enjoy. Please beware of fishers casting their lines and let them know when you approach!
There is a huge variety of wildlife at Pitfour ranging from otters to roe deer and a plethora of bird life.
The Pitfour Estate dates from 1700 and was once called the 'Blenheim of Buchan'.
